Applications are in. Now comes the fun part: choosing your weirdo, watching the work happen, and signing off on the result. This guide covers everything from the first application to the moment escrow releases.
Every applicant shows up side by side on your request's manage page with:
There's no cap on applications and no deadline pressure beyond your request's own expiry. Take your time. The request stays live for applications until you pick someone or it expires (14 days by default).
You can message any applicant before picking. Use it:
Two rules:
Negotiating mid-conversation? Either of you can send a custom offer — a formal price proposal right in the chat ("Make an offer" above the composer). Accept it and it becomes the application's official price; when you pick, that's exactly what your card is charged. Decline it and nothing changes. Offers only exist before the pick — after money's in escrow, the price is the price (extras can be settled with a tip at acceptance).
Picking someone is the commitment moment. When you confirm:
If the charge fails, nothing happens — no pick, no escrow, no notification. Fix the card and try again.
Paying with crypto? You'll get a payment screen instead of a card charge; the pick confirms once the payment clears. See for how the crypto rail works.
When the fulfiller submits, the delivery first passes a human moderation check (we screen everything before it reaches you). Then you get it: files, notes, the lot. From here you have exactly three doors:
The work is what you asked for. Hit accept. Escrow releases to the fulfiller (price minus their 15% fee), the job closes, and you both rate each other.
At acceptance you'll also see an unchecked box: "Make this public on the discover feed." Tick it only if you want the finished piece showcased — it goes public only if the fulfiller also opted in at delivery. Default is private, forever. Either of you can revoke later from settings.
Close, but not right? You get one revision round per request. Write a note (be specific — "make it weirder" helps nobody) and the fulfiller resubmits. After the revision, the choice narrows to accept or dispute — there's no second revision.
The delivery never came, or it genuinely isn't what was agreed. A dispute freezes escrow and puts a human on the case. Full details in .
After a delivery is approved and waiting on you, you have 5 days to accept, request a revision, or dispute. Do nothing and escrow auto-releases to the fulfiller — they did the work; they shouldn't be hostage to your inbox. The timer resets once if a revision comes back.
Going quiet entirely has consequences: a poster who ghosts a picked job for 14 days earns a strike.
Loved it? Two things live on the accepted request page:
Can I pick more than one fulfiller? No — one request, one fulfiller. Want three people to do it? Post it three times.
Can I change my mind after picking? Picking charges your card, so there's no casual undo. If the fulfiller agrees things aren't working, or they back out, escrow comes back to you. Otherwise the dispute process is the path.
What if nobody applies? Sharpen the request (specifics attract), raise the price, or give it a . If it expires unpicked, you're charged nothing.
Do I ever see the fulfiller's real name? No. Handles only, both directions. Payment details never cross between you.
