# Fees & pricing

Every fee on the platform, in one place, with worked examples. If a number isn't on this page, we don't charge it.

## The short version

| What | Cost |
|---|---|
| Browsing, posting, applying | **Free** |
| Poster service fee | **5%** of the price, added on top, charged only when you pick a fulfiller |
| Fulfiller service fee | **15%** of the price, deducted from the payout, charged only on accepted work |
| Tips | **0%** platform fee — fulfiller gets everything minus the card processor's cut |
| Featured boosts | Optional, fixed prices below |
| Currency conversion | Spot rate, no markup |
| Refunds | Free |

The platform's entire revenue on a completed job is 20% of the price: 5 from the poster's side, 15 from the fulfiller's side. Upwork-style split, no subscription, no listing fee, no "connects," no per-message charge.

## Worked example

A request priced at **$100**:

- Poster's card is charged **$105** at pick ($100 price + $5 fee) — into escrow.
- Fulfiller delivers; poster accepts.
- Fulfiller receives **$85** ($100 − $15 fee).
- Platform keeps **$20**.

A request priced at **$25** (the minimum): poster pays $26.25, fulfiller receives $21.25.

## Price limits

- **Minimum request price: $25** (or equivalent in the request's currency).
- **Maximum request price: $2,500** — until milestone escrow ships; big jobs need per-milestone protection that single-shot escrow can't give you.

The post form shows the exact range in your currency. These bounds exist because escrow, human moderation, and dispute handling have real costs — a $2 request can't carry them, and a $50,000 one needs paperwork we don't do (yet).

## When exactly money moves

| Moment | Poster | Fulfiller |
|---|---|---|
| Posting a request | Nothing charged | — |
| Applying | — | Nothing charged |
| **Pick** | Card charged price + 5% → escrow | Nothing |
| Delivery submitted | Nothing | Nothing |
| **Acceptance** (or 5-day auto-release) | Nothing further | Receives price − 15% |
| Request expires with no pick | Nothing was ever charged | — |
| Full refund (dispute/backout) | Price refunded | Nothing |

On a full refund, the price comes back to you. The platform eats its own processing costs — refunds are free.

## Featured boosts (optional)

Want more eyeballs on a request? Three fixed tiers, stackable:

| Tier | Duration | Where it shows | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| **Spotlight** | 24h | Top of its category page | $5 |
| **Front page** | 24h | Featured slot on the home feed | $15 |
| **Trending boost** | 72h | Boosted in the trending sort | $25 |

Prices are USD-anchored and converted to your currency at the current rate when you buy. If several posters buy the same tier, slots rotate in purchase order — nobody gets buried because someone richer showed up. Boosts are a visibility purchase, not a guarantee of applications, and they're non-refundable once live.

## Tips

After accepting a delivery, a poster can tip — once or repeatedly. The mechanics:

- Charged to the poster's saved card (card-only — the "minus exact processing fee" model is card-native).
- The fulfiller receives the **gross tip minus the exact card-processing fee** read from the charge itself — not an estimate. A $50 tip lands as roughly $48.25.
- Platform's take: **$0**, verifiable in the request's transaction ledger.

## Multi-currency

- Post in any supported currency; the $25–$2,500 bounds convert at current rates.
- Prices display in *your* display currency (set in account settings) using hourly-refreshed rates — display only.
- You're charged in the request's native currency; your bank may apply its own conversion on top. That part is between you and your bank.

## Crypto

Posters can fund a pick with crypto (BTC, ETH, USDC and friends — converted to USDC on receipt); fulfillers can choose a wallet payout. Same fees as fiat: 5% poster, 15% fulfiller. Network/processor specifics live in [Escrow & payouts](/docs/escrow-and-payouts).

## Receipts

Every money event has a printable receipt: pick charges, boosts, and tips on **[/billing](/billing)** (poster side), payouts and tips received on **[/earnings](/earnings)** (fulfiller side). Open one, hit "Print / save PDF," done. Amounts mirror the request's transaction ledger exactly.

## What we will never charge for

- Seeing your own money trail — every request has a full transaction ledger, and every charge has a receipt on [/billing](/billing).
- Withdrawing your balance. There is no "balance"; money moves to you automatically.
- Deleting your account.

If you ever see a number on a charge that this page doesn't explain, [tell us](/contact) — that's a bug, not a fee.
